Collin Wedel, Board Member

Collin joined the Aveson community in 2019, when his two children joined the kindergarten and second-grade advisories at ASL. Collin became a member of the ACS board in 2024.

Collin is a partner in Sidley Austin LLP’s Los Angeles office, where he practices appellate litigation. Before Sidley, Collin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ruggero J. Aldisert of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Collin also currently serves on the board of Teach Democracy, having previously sat on the boards for the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice, and, before that, Ascencia.

After growing up in Arizona, Collin earned his undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University and his law degree from Stanford Law School.
