AGLA Launches First Ice Hockey Academy in the Fall 2024. 

This unique academy engages middle school students passionate about ice hockey. Students interested in pursuing their ice hockey dreams have the opportunity to increase their training capacity to daily practice while maintaining a full academic schedule. 

The AGLA Ice Hockey Academy season runs from October through February and features the following:

  • Five practice days a week occuring at the start of the school day in lieu of PE, 7:45-9:00 a.m. Exact times and days are flexible with students arriving at school by 9:55 a.m.

  • Three days on the ice at the Pasadena Ice Skating Center & two days of off-ice training

  • 100 practice sessions over the 5-month hockey season with time taken off during school holidays..

  • Academic classes at AGLA with their peers and classmates.

How to Participate:

Players must apply for AGLA admissions in order to participate in the AGLA Ice Hockey Academy. Please visit Aveson Admissions for more information, to schedule a visit, and to apply. The 2024-2025 application deadline is February 3, 2024.
