Aveson Charter School Nutritional Guidelines

One of our objectives at Aveson is to encourage and educate our students about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle including nutritious eating, as well as helping to cultivate a dining experience rather than contributing to the “eat-and-run” culture to which we have unfortunately become so accustomed.

In support of our vision of a school reflecting nutritious and healthy eating and living, as a first step we request the following;

No student will come to school with or consume soda, chips, cookies, candy, or french fries as part of their snacks or lunches on campus.

The simple elimination of these five items will support Aveson in its first steps toward providing and supporting healthier food choices and options. You, as parents and guardians will help lay the foundation and the seeds to cultivate the healthy living practices and culture we all want to see come to fruition for our students at Aveson.

Thank you for your continued support in making Aveson a healthy campus for all of its students.
